Communications Services provides repairs for telephone and cable television services in UCSB-owned residence halls and apartments.

Telephone and Cable Television Services Repairs
Use our online Report a Problem form to get help with telephone and cable television service problems.

8700. Communications Services will open a trouble ticket to resolve the problem.
When reporting the problem, please supply the following information.
- The name and telephone number of the person reporting the trouble, and of the Customer of Record for the service (if different). This will allow a repair technician to contact someone familiar with the details.
- The specific location of the problem (e.g., the building and room or apartment number).
- A description of the problem. This may be as simple as "I can't get a dial tone." The more information you provide, the easier it will be to isolate the problem.
