Report a Problem

Faculty and Staff may report a problem from the unified Information Technology Services portal: Repair Form

To be redirected to the new ServiceNow repair form in the Information Technology Services portal, Click Here, otherwise you can email repair@commserv.ucsb.edu or call x8700 to speak to someone about your issue.

Residents and Students may report a problem by sending an email to reshelp@commserv.ucsb.edu or call x8700 to speak to someone about your issue.

Use this form to report a problem with your University of California Santa Barbara telephone, voice mail, cable television, or two-way radio service.

Data Services

To report a problem with your computer or network connection, do the following.

  • Faculty and Staff: Contact your department's Network Administrator or other desktop support person.
  • Residents: Visit ResNet's Service Centers or call ResNet at extension 5555 or
    phone 805-893-5555.
