Calling Cards

UCSB calling card

Service Description

Using a UCSB Calling Card, a customer can place a telephone call from an off-campus telephone and have the expense of the call charged to a university or grant account. Calling cards can also be used with on-campus phones to allocate call charges to specific accounts.

Communications Services has an agreement with Qwest which enables faculty and staff to use a custom UCSB Calling Card at a rate competitive with other national calling cards for business calling. You may obtain and use a calling card from any carrier, but only the UCSB Calling Card will bill to a university account at rates negotiated by Communications Services.

Communications Services also provides customer support for the UCSB Calling Card. We will work with you to ensure that you have a calling card that works wherever it is needed.

Getting a Calling Card

Note: Once we have processed your calling card order, we will send the card and accompanying passcode and instructions to you via campus mail.

International Rates
