Campus Data Networking
The Office of Information Technology coordinates the provision of data networking services at UCSB. Communications Services designs and implements the data communications networks, including providing communications wiring and data circuits.
Internet Access
UCSB's primary connection to the Internet is via CENIC (Corporation for Education Initiatives in California), managed under an agreement administered by the University of California Office of the President (UCOP).
Internet Peering
UCSB can enter into Bilateral Peering Agreements with local Internet Service Providers for the purpose of routing data packets between the ISP's network and UCSB's network.
