The Communications Construction and Wiring Standards area of the Communications Services website is currently evolving. New pages under development include an expanded introductory section, resources for architects, expanded wiring and construction specifications, and a section on standards news.

Construction Standards Drawings
The Construction Standards section provides architects, consulting engineers, and contractors with detailed drawings for both the outside and inside construction of communications facilities. Outside Construction includes details on underground ducts, manholes, pullboxes, and entrance facilities. Inside Construction shows details on the conduits, wireways, and outlet boxes required in the interior of campus buildings.
Wiring Standards Drawings
The Wiring Standards section provides architects, consulting engineers, and contractors with detailed drawings for inside wiring for communications. Inside Wiring includes drawings for inside communications wiring systems from the main entrance terminal to the end-user wallplate and jumpers. Voice, Data and CATV distribution systems are covered.
Standards History
The Standards History section includes a detailed description of the 1997 campus wiring standards and their TIA/EIA references.
